Success!

The model has been printed!

It has taken a few attempts for both parts sadly (base and actual character), where it would not print properly either way. The character's legs malfunctioned and the base ended up being a bit wonky, but thankfully it all worked out well on the second attempt for each. Also the dedication from the man who runs the store also helped with the efficiency of the print, saving me less worry!

Really happy with how it turned out. Size wise and quality. I chose white as the colour so it would be easier to paint, and was given advice on how to polish it nicely, using some acrylics and decent finishing spray, so it is not over yet!

I will be uploading more pictures tomorrow once it is unpacked and hopefully in one piece after the train journey back home, but until then, here is one that was taken in the actual shop.

I was a little worried it would not stand or fit on the base as well, but it seems to be doing a great job so far!
